New York State testing occurs in grades 3-8 as of the 2005-2006 school year where in previous years it was administered at fourth grade only. The English Language Arts Exam is administered in January and the Mathematics Exam is administered in March. The sites below are intended to assist teaches and parents in helping to prepare their children to meet the standards and receive a passing score of 3-Meets the Standards or 4-Exceeds the Standards.
